Our balloon business story

Hello! I'm Niamh, founder of The Balloon Terrace. 

I'm a very creative person and have always worked in hospitality/ the events industry even during my time as a student. I have a first-class bachelor's degree in Event Management and I've always dreamt of having my own event company. I absolutely love seeing events come together after all the months of planning!

I live in Wokingham with my husband, our two Spanish rescue dogs and our baby girl who we welcomed in October 2023. 

I was inspired to start my business by a balloon installation that I had booked for a work event. I sat and watched it come together and thought to myself 'I wish I could do something like that'. So, I decided to learn how and turn my passion for event styling into an event decor and balloon backdrops business.

I trained with the amazing Bexley Confetti Balloons and have continued to learn with every installation. 

I'm a fully insured member of BAPIA and strive for nothing less than perfection for all my clients. I only use balloons of the highest quality.
